One week we took the children out every morning to pick rubbish around town! Picking up trash is a very foreign concept in Africa so we are trying to teach the children to take care of their community.
Kirsten and Kris taught the kids how to draw and paint! It was a little messy but they loved it! They had never even held a paint brush before!
Every Friday we took the kids to a big field to play games! They love
African Football! (soccer)
We also ate every meal with the children which was always fun. We led devotions for them at night before bed and my favorite thing we did with them was tucking them into bed and praying for them! These kids are absolutely SO precious and loved by the Lord! God has His hand on each of their lives and He is watching over them!

Travel Update: We are in Kampala, Uganda with the whole squad at the moment. In two days we are taking a 20 hour bus ride to Tanzania to minister for the month then we move onto Asia!
