Nicaragua is beautiful! Ministry and life here is going
well! As I said in my last blog we are living at a home for children and youth
who come from broken homes. There are twelve students living at La Quinta and
another handful of students who are involved with the church and youth group at
La Quinta.  These guys have quickly
been grabbing my heart! They are wonderful! Each of them has painful and hard
stories but God is redeeming each of their lives in incredible ways! I love the
time with these students and even though there is a language barrier we are
always finding ways to laugh together and get to know each other!

            We
get to hang out with the students at La Quinta during free time, we go to youth
group with them two times a week, we go to church with them two times a week
AND we even attend youth group dance practice! Also, the students are involved
in many different ministries around the community. They teach Sunday school in
a nearby neighborhood, they perform dances for children, and they do prayer
visitations in the local barrio! These students are amazing and I’m so excited
for the future that God has for each one of them!

            One
day last week we were asked to get together with the youth to prepare things
for a children’s home we were going to visit the next day. As we walked into
the church the youth were dancing. Little did we know that this was the
“preparation they were talking about. We learned five dances and performed
them in less than a day. Also, Rachelle and I were dressed as clowns for the
performance. It was hilarious and so much fun!

I will actually be returning to Georgia in exactly two months from today! Crazy to think about! Please continue to keep my team and I in your prayers as we finish strong in our last two months! More blogs to come soon, hopefully! Blessings!
