So, it is officially crunch time! I am leaving for the World Race on June 16th! So excited but trying to trust God that everything that needs to happen between now and then will happen and that I will not stress or worry! I’m thankful for His peace and love though!
There are a few blogs that I need to write before leaving for the race but this one is sort of a logistical one on communication and what not.
There are a few main ways and wonderful ways for us to communicate while I am gone this next year (drum roll please) and here they are:
Prayer: I believe without a doubt that this is the most incredible way for any two people to communicate, I assure you that I WILL feel your prayers and PLEASE let me know ways I can be praying for YOU throughout the year!
Email: I won’t lie, I’m not amazing at email but again, if and when I check my email overseas and see an email from any of my wonderful friends, family, and supporters it will encourage my soul like no other and I would love to encourage you in this way as well! My email is [email protected] (if you have my old email please update to this one) this is the one I will be checking while on the World Race. My old email gets too much spam.
Comments on my blogs: I will be blogging a lot, Lord willing, and I would love to receive blog comments from those of you reading them. I don’t even care if it has anything to do with the blog I wrote, I would just love to know how you’re doing, what God is doing in your life, and how I can pray for you! So, I will be looking forward to reading your blog comments, as the Lord leads you to post them. Simply scroll down to the bottom of each blog and type your comment there!
We live in an age of technology so let us use it for God’s Kingdom! In actuality I will be traveling across the world but I will STILL be able to stay connected with each of you through the ways mentioned above. My ministry this next year is of course to the nations and to my wonderful new team (who I will introduce you to via blog very soon) but I also want to know what God is doing back home and how my team and I can intercede for each of you!
Please pray for my brother and his fiance during the next 24 hours. They are going to the hospital soon to wait out my nephews arrival! Pray that Krystye’s pain would be minimal and everything would go smoothly with Jonah’s birth! I know being an aunt will change my life and I simply cannot wait!
Also, something for you to pray about. Each member of my team MUST have $8,500 in their accounts to leave on June 16th. It’s NOT okay that we leave without ALL of them! Please pray for and consider donating to my teammates who are a few thousand dollars short of the $8,500 goal. If you would like to donate to them, go straight to their blogs and donate directly to them. I know you don’t know them, but I’ve spent the last week with them and I’m confident that God has called them to this journey just as He has called me! He has called us to walk through this TOGETHER!
