Hello Friends! It’s been awhile!
Well after many months of no blogging, here I
am! God has had me in a beautiful yet hard season of rest. It’s been a season
unlike any other I’ve ever experienced. He has had me in a very quiet and
restful place. I can’t say it’s been easy but it’s been really really good!
I’ve fought many lies from our society over the months such as “go,
search, seek, find.” “You should be working or at least looking for a
job.” These are all lies and I’m thankful for His voice!
He says, “Wait. Trust Me. I’m working it
out for you. I have a beautiful plan for you. Rest in Me.” His presence
has been thick and His voice resounding. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t
doubted His voice many times but in the end I KNOW I hear His voice. I KNOW He
speaks to me! His provision has been astounding and it’s been a time to grow
deeper in trusting Him.
I’ve been able to spend wonderful time with my
amazing family! I’ve spent time catching up with many beautiful friends! I’ve
been able to see my World Race squad TWICE for two different O Squad weddings!
I can’t explain the joy it brought to my heart to be with them again. Like I
said, there’s been plenty of listening, waiting, seeking, and trying to obey
Daddy’s (God’s) voice. There has also been plenty of baseball and football
which I like a lot!
Anyways, I am just now coming out of the
season of rest that I’ve been. While the future is still murky I know that He
has incredible plans for me. I know that He is working it out as I type and
will open doors when His timing is right. I am continuing to seek Him and take
one step at a time. I’m still fully confident that my future will involve
anti-sex trafficking ministry and my heart to see slavery end in my lifetime is
more alive than ever before! I will definitely keep you posted with what the
future holds!
That being said, I will be launching a NEW
blog site next Monday January 23rd! I still love and support The World Race and
AIM very much and will always be a part of their culture and family but I feel
like this new blog will better fit the ministry that God is calling me to.
