I want to lay out my intentions for this blog. It will be an account of the events on and leading up to the WR (maybe even after). However, it will also be my spiritual journey and the things God is doing in my life and those who I will serve with, and for, in 2013. I have a friend whose mission is to share her life and heart through social media so that others can see the work of God and He will be glorified through it. I'd like to think that is what I am going to do with this piece of writing. If you do not know me, you need to know that I do not share my inmost thoughts often, or with a lot of people. With that said, I want to be as transparent as possible when I write this blog. This in itself is going to be challenge, not to mention the actual race.
The design of my blog is intentional and structured (but quite possibly could become more jumbled with time). I would like to free write, putting everything down that I have on my mind. In this stream of consciousness I end up putting a lot of "side notes," or thoughts, using () and – and sometimes * to mark them. While I try to make this an outpouring of my soul, it is organized in such a way that helps me think more clearly and may look very formal – at least for now. I will try not to edit my thoughts in general, but I may have to go back and rearrange them – especially editing for grammer and puntuality, which is just part of who I am. I hope my writing will be enlightening – if not, well, it makes me feel better.
I encourage you to comment on my entries and engage in conversation with me and others. So forget I am writing this and let's go on this journey together!
