I am so excited to share with you all that my team and I have received our first "official" assignment for the World Race!
You will see why I am using the quotations when I show you how I discovered said assignment.
Below is the email I read last week from my team leader Justin:
Location: Huataraco (6 hours from Quito)
Ministry: Huatraco – work with some communities and construction
Minsitry Host: Gustavo and Jim
What on earth will we be doing and where exactly will we be doing it? Your guess is as good as mine!
But here is what I do know:
I have been praying for months that the Holy Spirit is working in the hearts of those whom we will meet next week.
I have been praying for months that the Holy Spirit will work in the hearts and minds of my team as we go.
I have been praying for months that the Holy Spirit will guide our words and our actions no matter what we are doing.
So I unfortunately will not have any specifics for you, my wonderful supporters, until next week.
But I know that God is already there and preparing for our arrival! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as January 8th quickly approaches and we head to Ecuador.
