As I began to pray about what my future would hold, one thing became very clear, my heart’s desire is to be of service to others. My mission as a servant of God is to share the love of Jesus with everyone I meet in actions and/or words, so 1 Corinthians 16:14 has become my mantra.
“Do everything in love.”
Nearly one month ago today I mailed out support letters to my blood family, church family, and my friends. I have already raised $4,060… Insert praise hands!!! 🙂
Although I have already met my May 1st deadline, I’m now looking to meet/ surpass my June 17th deadline of $7,500. (This information has been updated to reflect new launch date!) I have always had a sense of peace about how the financial aspect of my trip would be covered. I trust that the Lord will provide the means for me (and my squad) to go if it is His will.
To continue to raise support, I have been working with Fund the Nations to design and produce a t-shirt that I will be selling. I put my heart into what this shirt would look like because I wanted it to represent me.
It is a heathered-red, SOFT, unisex t-shirt with navy and gray screen printing.
My hope is that the shirt will serve as a reminder to pray for all of the Racers on the field and the ones who are raising support each time the you put it on or see one being worn.
If I sell 100 shirts at $25 each I will raise another $1,775 towards my goal of $16,277!
If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt to support my Race, here’s how Fund the Nations works… I will be doing a pre-order for three weeks, which means I need your size and payment by Sunday, February 8th. I will then send the full order with money to FTN. They will print and ship the shirts back to me and I will distribute them. I do not plan on ordering extra shirts since I have to pay before shirts are printed, so please complete your order by Monday, February 9th!

Children’s Shirts: I can order shirts for children as long as I have an order with 13 or more shirts. If you are interested in ordering a child’s sized shirt, please let me know as soon as possible. I won’t take payment for those shirts until I know I have at least 13 shirts.
Sizing Information: These are unisex t-shirts. If you run between sizes, Fund the Nations encourages you to order the larger of the two sizes.
Payment: Unfortunately I cannot accept credit cards, but I will happily take cash or check. Checks should be made out to me because I will be making one payment to Fund the Nations.
Shipping Information: If you would like to order a shirt, but you don’t see me regularly, I will happily ship it directly to you once the order comes in!
