Living on a YWAM base has been a blessing in it's self. We were welcomed in with gifts on our beds. A coke, snickers, a bag of chips, and a package of cookies. We slowly started making friends with the YWAMer's and became very involved with the ministries here.

I have fallen in love with four preschoolers this month and what God is doing through their teacher Judy. The vision God gave to Judy to start this school by teaching godly principles to the children and raising them up as missionaries to their peers when the school grows and starts to take on urban kids. Most of whom are Hindu and don't know the name Jesus or the love He has for them. Right now there are four 2-4 year old kids. They are such a joy to work with. We start our day with worship and a prayer circle. Hearing children pray is so good! They have such simple and honest prayers and this firm belief that their prayers will be answered. I really learn something new about child like faith each day I work with them.

Before we left Kathmandu Nepal we got to meet teams from K Squad that had just come from Bangalore and told us about Jireh Orphange. When we got here to Bangalore we got over to Jireh as fast as we could to see for ourselves what there was to love about this family. God has brought them here to love kids and bring them into a saving knowledge of Christ, by living lives that honor and glorify God. We have gotten to love the kids at Jireh so much and enjoy spending our afternoons with them.

There are 10 kids between 4-17 years old. The kids are mostly boys and love to play soccer. We play soccer for at least an hour or more each time we go over. I even scored two goals one game! My soccer skills are pretty limited but I can't help but play every time they ask me too. It's always one of my favorite parts of hanging out with them.  At the end of our stay we threw a pizza party movie night with the kids and watched Jungle Book.

All the kids about to sing with us.

I also had this crazy God encounter with Kaysie one day when we went to this orphange that we knew nothing about. We thought we'd go and play with the kids and sing some songs, maybe share a bible story. Well Nope that is NOT what God had in store. We did start with a game and a few songs. We played Zoom and sang about how Big our God is. But after Mikala left (she had another minstry to serve at) Kaysie and I sat done and just talked with the woman in charge. I asked her how she started the orphanage. Simple question right? Well the answer wasn't simple and at times hard to hear. She shared her whole lifes testimony with me and Kaysie that afternoon. About how her mother hated her for seeking after God. About how she came with nothing and had no friends in a new city to make something of herself. How God walked with her through so many hardhips. The craziest part was at the end with tears dripping done her face she told us that we were the first people to sit and listen to her story. How amazing is our God? He knew she just needed a couple ears to listen and hear her that day. So He sent me and Kaysie. We had the honor of praying over her and the orphanage. We never got to go back. But I know God is doing mighty thing there, because of one womans faith.
