So with that title I'm sure you are thinking all kinds of things…
So let me explain.
I went with a friend for dinner a couple weeks ago and we ended up at the bar to get faster service.
We started talking to some pilots who were sitting near us and the World Race came up. I told them all about what I'm about to do with WR and how I need to raise $15,500. The one pilot offered flying lessons for an auction I'm trying to plan. A little bit later a friend of the pilot who offered lessons came in and was told about my trip. He then offered to donate $200 in support! So a night out with a friend brought some much needed support because we were at the bar.
Then this week I had a ladies night out fundraiser in my church basement. To be honest I thought it would end up being a bust. I am not good at details and making these kind of things happen. And I didn't. My good friends came up beside me and made it a great night. I thought no one would come and that it would be a waste of time for the wonderful venders who set up in support of me. BUT! Praise God! He showed up with more ladies then I ever thought would come out on a rainy night! I was in awe of Him and how He blessed that night. He has provided so many people with the right skills and willingness to help that I have no doubt I will be fully funded before the last deadline.
So thank you to God and to you for all the support you give me. I am beyond grateful to be a part of the July route 3 team. Thank you all for making this a possible missions trip!
