My time in Kenya flew by.

We stayed with Bishop Moses (aka Bish) and his family.
Each week we did a different type of ministry. Our first week we taught at a school for 4 days.

Our second week we did prayer in the hospital, and a service at a womens prison. Susan gave the message and shared a video. After the video she got down on the floor with the women and shared her testimony and the Word. Over 20 women gave their lives to Christ that afternoon! It was an amazing time of worship and prayer.

Our third week was spent going from hut to hut to pray with and encourage church members. I felt like I walked all over Kenya those three days. We walked up and down hills full of maize and beans. It was the most exhusting ministry we did while in Kenya. But one women really made it all worth it. When we came to her home and asked what we could pray for she replied with "more faith and strentgh in the Lord". No prayers for more money or a cow. ONLY more faith! That blew me away! Kenya is a country where people don't have much and to pray for somehing to help your family make it another day is so understandable. But that one woman knew for her family all they didn't was more FAITH and a deeper relationship with Christ. I was humbled that day. I know I pray for stuff more than I pray for more of Christ.

Then we were off to Kisumu for two days to relax as a team before Debrief. We met up with Bish's daughter and she showed us around. We got to take a boat ride on Lake Victoria and see 5 hippos!

We also went to the Impala Sanctuary and got to visit with the animals. We entered the monkey cage and got to hold him. And show him what he looks like in picture.

We also got caught in the rain and the man walking around with us let us go into the kitchen and feed baby serval cats while waiting out the rain.

While we were waiting for it to stop raining Courtney felt like God was telling her it wouldn't stop til someone in the room heard about Him. Then Susan asked if we could pray for the men. There were about 5 guys working and the one who walked us around the park, Alfred. So we prayed over them and their work. Then Courtney got to talking with one man about Christ and he said he believed but wasn't saved. So after an interesting convo he realised that he could really be saved. It was a sweet moment of following the Lords leading even on a "day off".

Then we headed to Nairobi for a week of debrief with the squad and welcomed home two wonderful people! Tyler Lee and Payton Runnels who both left the race to go home for health reasons back in Moldova.  We always said good bye to our wonderful squad leaders Peter and Rachel and recieved Caleb and Megan as our new squad leaders.

My team is now serving in Morogoro Tanzania with Morogoor Pentecostal Church and Pastor Albinas.
More to follow later!
