Is this really my life?? I knew that is a question that world racers ask themselves a lot during their journey around the world, but it has only been about two weeks, and I already find myself asking that question over and over again.
Handing out free lollies to people around the streets in Coleraine was our way of spreading joy and brightening people’s days. So that’s what we did, with a smile on our faces, filled with the joy of Christ, we had buckets of yummy lollipops and hit the streets asking, “would you like a free lollie?!” It really brightened the faces of those around us. People gladly received them with a surprised smile on their faces. We did not preach to them and there were no strings attached. Of course to those who asked why we were doing this we told them we were from a local church, but the bottom line was just to spread joy around the city, and I believe we did.
So I found myself in gorgeous Northern Ireland, walking the beautiful streets with a joyful and thankful heart, handing out free lollies, and spreading love and joy with a smile and a lollie! Life doesn’t get much better than that! Once again, is this really my life?!
