I am so thrilled to update you on Melissa (Beatrice)! It is clear God has been continuing the work He started in that precious little girl. I received a message from Philip the other day stating that Melissa is now WALKING!!!!! If you haven’t heard Melissa’s (Beatrice’s) story you can click here. This once malnourished little girl is now well fed and able to walk when she holds on to things around her!!! Praise God!

God has taught me so much through this little girl. We often have such a messed up value system where we determine people’s worth by what they can do or achieve. That wealthy person must really be something to accomplish so much, right? What about the homeless man, what do we really think about him?
God is so above any human judgment scale. Where we don’t see much, He sees a treasure worth so much; so much that our sin was put on His Holy Son. God doesn’t look at titles, accomplishments, or what we are able to do for Him, or what He is going to get out of us…He is able to see us stripped down from everything, and in that place is where we are valued. Just by being you, is where you are truly, madly and deeply loved by God. I thank God that He doesn’t value us as we often, and maybe subconsciously, do each other…
To Him, Melissa, by herself, is worth dying for; I, by myself, am worth dying for; you, by yourself, are worth dying for…
God is fighting for Melissa. He is crazy in love with her. And I am trusting in Him for her complete healing in Jesus’ name!
