For sometime now God has been impressing on my heart, home. In some way I want to create or become a home to the homeless, the lonely, and the hurting. I want to be and create a safe place for a lost and oppressed people; be a friend to the friendless; show hope to the hopeless; bring love to the unloved; touch the untouched.
I cannot ignore this pounding, with its beat getting louder and faster. It is a constant, daily yearning inside of me that is screaming out. I can almost feel it trying to crawl out of my own skin. There is urgency, a passion, and a hope brewing and with joy it wants to gather the hurting in its arms and whisper, “it’s ok, Jesus loves you, I love you.”
I don’t know exactly how this will manifest into a ministry or where God will send me. But I do know that I will be used for His purposes.
The need is great, and the need is now.
I have seen the ways God’s power has poured down all over this earth in forms of redemption, freedom, healings, and love and it has given me the faith to say, “Yes Lord…Here I am.”
And so in less than five weeks I will be moving to Spain to attend G42 Leadership Academy. There I will sit at the feet of experienced and skilled men and women of God who will disciple me and help birth home into fruition.
The 42nd generation is a network of Christ-followers with the mission to plant churches & ministries and to spread the Kingdom of God around the world-to inspire & develop leaders & radicals who are passionate about the poor, orphans, & laying their lives down for Christ.
I have heard God’s call to G42 over and over again and I can no longer ignore it. God, in His great plan, has placed G42 in my path as the launching point for a lifetime of missions.
Here at G42 we have a dream to raise an army of 100,000 to plant the Kingdom of God across the globe. We want to see a glorious church arise and bring dominion to the empty and desperate places on earth. That is why the leadership academy is not simply a leadership school or ministerial training center, it is also a jumping off point for people who have committed to giving their lives for Christ.
But I can’t do this alone. I need partners to come along side of me and invest in the Kingdom God is planning to bring through me. I know God has called me to do this, and therefore He will meet my needs. But I need the body of Christ whom God is prompting, to join me in this vision and calling.
