This life is all about love. More specifically God’s love for us. It is not about how much we love God, but how much God loves us!

The following is an excerpt from Rolland and Heidi Baker’s book, “Always Enough”

“…Let Him love you. It’s so much simpler than we thought. It’s time to be transformed by His love so that there is no fear in you. Be wrecked for everything but His presence. Be so utterly abandoned in His love.
God in His glory will pour and pour His presence into people to the degree that entire nations will be transformed. He will pour His love out like a river, like an ocean. Let Him kiss you with the kisses of His mouth.
It’s time to lie down and let God be God. He is mighty, and nothing is impossible with Him. He wants to kiss His Church and transform you with His love.
We are called to be carriers of His glory. It’s not about standing up and being an eloquent speaker. It’s about being so close to the heart of God that you know what He’s thinking. Then you’re not afraid to go anywhere and say anything. The Lord Himself will do anything for radical lovers. He captivates us so that we can never go back. He wants to shatter your box. Often your God is still too small. It’s His time for whole nations.
Lie down so that He can trust you with everyone. Then when you get up there is revival-when whole nations come to Him, falling on their faces. He changes us with one glance of His eyes, so that we are not afraid to be completely abandoned to His arms. Many want lots of power and anointing, but when you just lie down and let Him kill you, it’s a good thing. He wants to love you to death.
We are finally realizing that we have failed and that we cannot bring about the kind of revival this world needs. In the secret place of Your heart, Jesus, we will rest. We will lie down. We will listen, until You tell us to stand up. When You tell us to stand up, we know that nations will come to You.
He’s looking for union, not occasional worship, so that our natures are transformed. We must walk in His nature, and we must die daily.
Some people say, “Just get a grip. We’ve already done that.” But it’s a daily thing, a continual laying down. All fruitfulness flows from intimacy. There’s no other place to get it. To the degree that we are united with the heart of Jesus, God will bring fruit in our lives. To the degree that you are in love with Him, you will be fruitful.

                                                                                            ——-

When the reality of how much He loves you really hits you, you are bound to never be the same. And it is crazy to think that the love I feel from my Father doesn’t even scratch the surface of how much love He really has for me! He just wants me to let Him love me. That’s it. That is what this life is about, letting God love you. It is that simple!
So just let God love you. It’s so beautiful! The Creator of the universe, the Maker of the stars and the galaxies, the oceans and mountains, the Ruler of heaven and earth, just wants to love you! I mean how ridiculous is that! Just lie down in His presence. Let Him speak to your heart and soul.
“Just be still and know that I am God”. That is what He asks of you. Just be still, quiet your soul and let Him be God! You don’t have to do anything. You don’t have to accomplish anything. You don’t have to achieve anything. You don’t have to prove yourself. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to earn anything. You don’t have to pretend to be something you are not. All you need to do is just BE! Just be still, sit at the feet of Jesus, just lie down in God’s presence and let His love overcome you and flow through you, because there is so, so much love. He is just dying to shower you in it! He so eagerly wants to love you and be your Dad, all you have to do is let Him. Just let Him love you. Let Him be God. Let Him be Dad.

Romans 8: 38-39

38 “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
