I think many of us Christians are too comfortable in our current state of life. We are comfortable with the occasional God conversation and church services on Sundays, but that is about the extent of our Christian walk. But God is yearning for us to want and seek more than that, much more. I am not saying this out of judgment, but out of love. Because I have begun to taste the life of Christ beyond church services and into Kingdom, and it is the sweetest, most glorious taste, and it is just the beginning. When we seek God with all our hearts, amazing things happen. God blows our minds with His love and His presence and you cannot help but be changed. God pours out His love into your inner most being and you never see the world or the people in it the same again. God makes everything beautiful. And He has such great things in store for us. He wants to pour out His love, He wants to spoil us with His good gifts. We just need to be willing to receive. We just need to seek His face. He is waiting for us. He wants each and every one of us to want Him, to depend on Him, to recognize that we need Him. He wants us to draw close to Him.
Once a child of God, you have been given an authority, Kingdom Authority; authority over every sickness, every affliction, every spirit, every condition. Jesus has given us this authority. We just need to choose to walk in it!
What happens when Christians walk in the Kingdom Authority given to them??
People get healed of their afflictions! Back pain vanishes, legs grow out, spines straighten, eye sight gets restored! All of these things happened last night when our group of passionate Christ followers exercised our authority given to us by our wonderful, amazing Savior, Jesus. God loves us so much, it is beyond fathomable. God has told us in Mathew 10:8 to “heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received.” He told us to do these things. We just need to walk in that authority, and to recognize that God DOES want us to do these things. He wants us to step out in faith, believing that through exercising Kingdom Authority, out of love and gentle compassion, the sick WILL be healed, the dead WILL be raised, those with leprosy and diseases WILL be cured, and spirits WILL be cast out. Because God loves us! He wants to show us His amazing, unconceivable love! God has been showing us His faithfulness, because miraculous healings have been happening here in Ireland right in front of our eyes, all because of the Love and Compassion of our Great God! He has been showing us His love, His compassion, His grace, and His presence.
God has been showing up in ways that I have only dreamed of. But this is not a dream anymore. This is reality. This is the life I want. I want God’s presence, I want Kingdom to invade earth. I want God to be GLORIFIED.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
