God is stirring something inside of me. I feel something coming. It is going to blow my mind. And it will be all for God’s glory and for bringing Kingdom to this earth in the name of Jesus. God has touched me in ways that make him so incredibly real, that I will never turn back to wanting anything less than to serve him with all that I am every day of my life.
I recently got back from training camp in Georgia. It was amazing. I met my team mates, and learned who my family would be over the next year. They are all great people and am so blessed to do life with them!
What I am about to say is being told to bring God glory and as a testimony to the Awesome God that he is. God is amazing, he is real, he cares, he is personal, and he loves us more than we can fathom.
One night at camp we were told to ask God for the spiritual gifts that we want. I thought to myself that the gift of healing would be awesome, but that I just wanted whatever God wanted for me. Then a couple nights later we were having a Holy Spirit night where we were inviting the Holy Spirit to pour down and fill us. I was praying to God to fill me with love and compassion, the kind that changes and transforms lives, I was praying to be filled with God’s kind of love and compassion for his people. I also prayed to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit that God wanted me to have. I told him I was ready and that I wanted what he had in store. As I was praying for the Holy Spirit my hands were out in front of me. They started shaking uncontrollably and I couldn’t stop them from shaking. I thought to myself, “hmmm I must be being touched by the Holy Spirit for this to be happening“. Then Scott, one of my squad coaches came and prayed over me. As he was praying over me, my hands began to tingle. It was a tingling sensation that I have never felt before. I thought to myself, “I wonder if I am going to get the gift of healing?!” Then Scott stopped praying and looked at me. He told me that I am going to be filled with great love and compassion, the kind that transforms lives and changes nations. The exact thing that I had been praying for earlier, to myself. He then looked at me straight in the eyes and told me that I am going to heal people. He said that I am going to physically heal people! I broke down and began praising and thanking God! His prophesy was a confirmation to what I had thought!!
I humbly say these things to bring glory to God, and perhaps people will be touched by this testimony of God’s greatness. As these things come to pass, people shall know that God is real and God is great, and that he loves us with an indescribable, unexplainable love and grace. Glory be to God and God alone. He is an awesome God, and worthy of praise!!!
