I’m in Romania! I’ve been here since the 2nd. The plan was for our team to go to Moldova, but at the last minute plans changed and we ended up staying in Romania! It is absolutely beautiful here! We are staying in a Gypsy village and doing relational ministry, which is basically just spending time with people, loving people, building relationships, and helping families out around the house with their chores. We will be leading a women’s ministry and a kids program as well. We are surrounded by rolling hills (or mountains if you are from Minnesota). The scenery is absolutely breath taking.
There are more Americans in this village right now than Gypsies I’m pretty sure. This past Sunday we went to church in the village. There were about 5 Gypsies and the rest of the church was filled with us Americans. Not exactly the show up hoped for. We sang two worship songs, and after that God led us out on the streets. So the congregation, mostly us Americans hit the village street, with two guitars and bongos in hand praising and worshiping God. Our hope was for others to see our love, adoration, and passion for God through our songs. With a group of 60+ Americans, we worshipped God down the streets of Viile Tecii village. As we sang, the Gypsy families came out of their houses and lined their yards checking out what was going on and listening to our songs. It brought some to tears! So for about 2 hours we sang through the street, stopping along the way to invite the people to church later that night for the 6:00 service.

I love you all very, very much! Thank you for all your love, prayer, and support!
