From the ashes we arise

Hello Everyone!

 

There has been a major change to my world race, which has been tough on me. Team Petra…a group of people I have fallen in love with, and have become a family with is no longer going to be serving together the rest of the race. Due to raising up squad leaders and new team leaders, changes within the teams needed to be made. God has given me life long friendships with my old teammates, and for that I am so grateful. I didn’t know this kind of bond and love was possible with people I have only known a couple of months. I praise God for blessing me so much with such amazing people that I have been honored to serve alongside for 3 months. I miss my old team, I love them, and have grown with them.

But although I miss my old team, God has blessed me with the opportunity to get to know two new girls, form new bonds, and grow with a new team. I am really excited to see where God leads our new team and for the friendships that will come from serving alongside them.

 

Allow me to introduce….TEAM PHOENIX

(Phoenix-1.a bird in Egyptian mythology that lived in the desert for
500 years and then consumed itself by fire, later to rise renewed form
its ashes. 2.a person or thing of unparalleled beauty or excellence. 3.
a person or thing that has regenerated or rejuvenated after a great
misfortune.)

 

My teammates: I am priviledged to stay with my old teammates: Tim Fizzell, Joel Williams, and Jennifer Mitchell. My two new teammates are Lindsay Nelson (pink jacket) and Ashley Weaver (green jacket). 

 

Thank you God for gifting me with Team Petra. Thank you for the friendships, the memories, the laughs, and the growth.

God thank you so much for my new team, Team Phoenix. I recognize they are a gift from you and I am so excited and honored to serve along side of them. I ask you grow us as a team, unite our hearts, may we learn from each other and grow closer to you because of one another. Amen.
