Incarnate 2016 is a discipleship arts program and mission, held at the Isola Evangelical Centre near Rome, who prepare artists to apply their artistic skills and gifts in a missional and cross-cultural context. The program is run by Operation Mobilisation (OM); an international, interdenominational mission, specializing in cross-cultural evangelistic teams around the world.
First comes training: examining the theology of the arts in mission, cross-cultural sensitivity and personal spiritual growth, extended studio time, and community engagement. After three months in Italy, I will be sent to Belgium for my practical application in partnership with another Canadian missionary working there! Dancing to connect with people, to build relationships, share hope, spread joy and healing, and to learn other people’s stories that might not have had a way of being expressed before.
BUT I still need to raise $6000 by EARLY DECEMBER!!! So, calling all friends, friends-of-friends, people who would like to become friends, family, acquaintances, EVERYONE! Pretty please pick a square or two off the board (amount of dollars to be donated), and help me reach my goal!
