We made it to Swaziland!
After 90 something hours and lots of airports we are here in Swaziland. I told everyone we were flying out of Atlanta to Johannesburg on June 5th but that didn’t work out so well. Our airline wouldn’t let us on the plane because we didn’t have proof that we were leaving South Africa. They probably took one look at all our luggage and thought we were stay for good. Because we couldn’t fly out on the 5th we ended up at Adventures in Missions headquarters about an hour north of Atlanta. This turned out to be a blessing as both of the tripods AIM got for the media team turned out to be defective strait out of the box. This gave us time to plan, organize and get replacement equipment shipped in.
On Wednesday the sixth, half of our team flew out for Africa, and the rest of us stayed at AIM for the second day. On Thursday night I finally got to fly out for Africa.
After two days of flying we landed in Johannesburg, South Africa.
On Saturday the 9th we finally made it to our destination in Swaziland. We will be training here in Swaziland for the next week and then we will be moving to our first ministry site here in Swazi or South Africa.
