Once upon a time long ago I majored in media arts in college. If you are wondering what that means this is the major that lets you play with computers, video cameras and that sort of thing. For a gadget guy like myself this was great fun. I got to try so many different things, video, audio, graphic design, print work, web etc. This was also about the time I found out that I didn’t like web design that much. It’s not that it’s bad or anything I just found that video was so much more fun. So naturally web is the area I am specializing in this month.

The ministry we are working with this month is in desperate need of updating on their website. I being the only one on the team that would admit to knowing anything about web got drafted for the job.

Much of my day is taken up with updating code and text and tracking down new content for the web site. Don’t get me wrong I am very happy to help out with this project I just find it very ironic that of all the areas I could be helping with, web is where I landed.

But don’t worry about me, when no one was looking I also signed up to work with the kiddos at the orphanage. This gets me out of the house and away from the computer so I will be getting plenty of hands on time with the kids. This is nice as I currently only know them from their bios on the web site.


On a different note God has really been working in my life and letting me see how much He cares for me. At the same time, I’m really having a hard time with trusting Him to provide financially for me. I know it’s silly to worry as God has always provided for me in the past. My request is that you pray for more support to come in or consider supporting me. I am about $3000 short of my goal. I would also appreciate prayer for personal money as clothes wear out and add up along the journey and I am running very low. Your encouragement, prayer and support have blessed me so much this past year. Thank you so much.
