Guat’s Up?
Greetings from Puerto Barrios, Guatemala!
It’s way past time for me to introduce you to my team so here you go:
Leading off you have Chase:
Chase is a beautiful young man with a super big heart for a hurting world. He is always first to offer an encouraging word and tell you how much he appreciates everything you have done. He spent a little over a year living with teens on the street and is a man seeking after the heart of our father.
Batting second you have Dani:
Dani is a Scott, from across the pond, and has a personality to light the world. She believes that laughter is one of the purist forms of joy and can create infectious change. She is a great member to have along with us as she finds most things amusing and will continually call common objects by another name that is difficult to understand. (peepot, fizzy/fuzzy juice?)
Third to the plate is Robin:
Robin is a gifted singer who belts it from the heart. She comes to the race with a depth and truth way beyond her years. While I’m not sure she knows it yet but she has a strength and story that will change many peoples lives.
Batting clean up is Pricilla:
I admire Pricilla greatly! She is one of the few people that I know who truly is slow to speak, considering her words carefully. When she speaks I suggest you listen. She is always observing the world around her and is a mighty woman of God. Know her for a short time and you will say the same thing.
And hitting second lead off is Hayden:
Hayden has a pure song in her heart and I love it. When she straps on a guitar and sings praises to our God it is a thing of beauty. I love how she always has a song on her tongue and a dance in her feet. Also, the honesty I have seen from her is inspiring and refreshing.
