What is the Gospel? It is the good news, the message of our salvation. God’s redeeming working in purchasing mankind from his sin. In short, it is what makes God so glorious.
I have been thinking about this a lot this week. That Christ’s actions were to bring the most glory to the Father.
Without the work of the cross, and its redeeming power, God wouldn’t be worthy of our worship.
Why do I say this?
Because He would have been able to create us, and give us life, only to have sin and death steal what makes Him so glorious, showing that He didn’t have the power to sustain our lives after our sinful acts. We would be destined only for death.
However, I worship my God and want to live to bring others to the understanding of His glory because He proved His power over death. He has not only the power to give life temporarily, but to give it eternally. This proof came when He raised Christ from the dead after three days.
Brothers and sisters lets live lives that bring the world to this understand of our God. Let us bring Him the glory He is due!
