Sorry for the hiatus followers, I got caught up in the holidays and spending time with family and friends before leaving for the year.
So an update as to what is going on…
I leave in the morning to fly to Fort Lauderdale, FL. where I will meet up with my amazing D squad companions and prepare to embark to Guatemala.
The mixture of extreme excitement for what God has in store in my life and sadness over leaving family and friends is hard to explain. The idea of not being able to pick up a phone and call my twin brother, or the rest of my family, whenever I want, is going to be very difficult I’m sure; as I was at least able to do this on my bike trip last summer. I’ve actually been cryin a little bit after hanging up with Charles a little while ago. I love my family a great deal and will miss them immensely.
That being said, I can’t wait to get to Florida to see my new family, the brothers and sisters I will be heading out with to preach the Gospel.
