This month, our team is serving in Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine. We are working with CCX, a Christian organization that ministers and disciples University Students in Kiev, We are visiting many classes, sharing our World Race experiences, life in America and other countries with the students. Our main focus has been at the Linguistics University where the students learn several languages at the same time. Students here find it very helpful to practice speaking the language with native speakers. Ukrainians are relationship orientated, therefore, we meet the students in class and then invite them to hang out for coffee or tea or other fun events throughout the month. These events include game night, Friday night movies, English Clubs, city tours, ballets, etc. Bible study is held twice a week for students.

Movie Night:
Each Friday night, CCX hosts a movie night at a local University. Following the movie, there is a discussion on moral/ethical topics from the movie. Movie nights are another great oppurtunity to build relationships and disciple students.
Game Night:
CCX also sponsors community service projects throughout Kiev. At the beginning of the month, we joined the students in cleaning a park and roadway. Afterward, we went to a park for a picnic, games, and fellowship.
I enjoy working with the CCX staff and volunteers. They are very passionate about raising up and equiping University Students as men and women of God. I love how the students are eager for those deep discussions that take place during Bible Study. These students are bringing the Kingdom to Kiev.
