Our team returned to Swaziland this month for ministry. We partnered with The Peterson Family, local ministry partners, and Adventures in Missions. The Peterson Family were called from Michigan to serve with Adventures in Missions in Swaziland. It was a joy and pleasure serving with the Peterson Family and local ministry partners this month.

Our ministry focus this month was serving at Adventures in Missions (AIM) carepoints. These carepoints are located throughout Swaziland where widows, orphans, and vulnerable children can go for physical, emotional, and spiritual help. Children come to the carepoints to receive a meal, education, Bible Study, and support. Currently there are 30 of these carpoints throughout Swaziland that reach 4800 children. There is also a clinic on site where children or community members can come to receive basic medical care and education. Our team served at 10 carepoints in the Nsoko area.

Carepoints typically include:

A covered shelter

Children lined up for lunch

Sharing Bible Stories with the children

and praying

Through the month, we also went to a few of the schools in the area to hold a Kids Club which included worship, Bible Study, skits, memory verse memorization, and games.

We also helped with the construction of a house for Eleyah. When the ministry team first met Eleyah she could not walk and was out in her yard eating grass. Through physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual support, Eleyah is now able to walk many miles with a cane, has a sufficient amount of food, and enjoys listening to her solar powered Audio Bible.

Please keep the Peterson family and ministry partners in your prayers as they help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of widows, orphans, and vulnerable children in Swaziland. Pray as they train and mentor local young people to raise up a new generation of Swazis with a passion for the Kingdom of God.
