What happens when your missionary contact (I won’t mention Ray Ward’s name) introduces you to a village pastor in Tai language? You end up with a new name and identity. Ray introduced me to Veeraphong as Pastor Mark Dynamite Song who is from Africa and has 50 children in which everyone in the room who spoke Tai laughed their heads off. I could not figure out what was so funny.
I started off in Ray’s ministry as Mark Song because there was another Mark on Ray’s team and in Tai, Song is number 2, so I became Mark Song. Then after a few inspirational messages to our team, Ray started calling me Pastor Dynamite- so the Pastor Mark Dynamite Song was born. I am stil trying to figure out where Africa and 50 children come from. We are going to Africa this year and my team thinks I may end up with an orphange with 50 children before we leave.
