Just wanted to do a quick post to say I haven’t forgotten about all of you. It’s been crazy trying to get everything together in time for my departure on Thursday, and now I have just one more day, on which I am working, to fit all my stuff in. There’s a long list on my desk – not a paper on my desk, just written on my desk itself because I didn’t have time to find and then keep track of a piece of paper – of things to do, and they will somehow be done. God’s been amazing in bringing everything together – I’ve gotten time with people I didn’t think I’d get to see, had a number of unexpected blessings come up that suddenly made me available to spend that time with people, and even got a laptop that a friend leant me, which I am typing this on right now, and will allow me to keep up with this blog far easier! Still haven’t worked out how I get from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, or what
apartment I’ll live in, or how to say anything beyond hello, thank you,
and chicken, but things will be good. Anyway, haven’t forgotten you, but my next post may be from China with some pictures of a Chinese New Year! Keep praying!
Train stations so packed you just lift your feet and let the crowd carry you where you’re going. Just one perk I have to look forward to in the next couple of days:
