If this is your first time here, let me introduce the World Race – ever want to go deeper with God, learn to rely on Him more, and reach out to the world that so desperately needs Him all at the same time? That’s what this is all about. From September of 2007 to July 2008, myself and the rest of the September team travelled the world to do God’s work and spread His word in countries all over Asia, Africa, and Central America. The whole idea – live and minister in a similar fashion to Jesus and His disciples, carrying our possessions on our backs, ministering to the poor, lost, sick, and broken of the world, all in accordance with God’s guidance. We cared for orphans, encouraged churches, built homes, and just reached out to people in every way God lead us. How much of your world could you fit into one backpack, to live off of for a year? More than we need to face life, death, and everything in between, but less than we hold on to in our day to day lives.
