I’m in China, fed and well rested, getting all the details of living here together. I’ve got a place, a phone, and know where the nearest free wifi is, so I’m well on my way. Tonight is Chinese New Years, which I’m excited to see. I was disapointed last year when we missed it by only 2 weeks, so this is a great blessing. Walking around the shops and buildings in this area bring back lots of memories, so as I did a few errands after my arrival yesterday I had a constant smile on my face remembering different places I’ve eaten, shopped, and talked with teammates and new friends we made here. I’m making a mental list of the people I want to see in the coming days, many of whom don’t know I’m even coming to China let alone here already. I’m off to a Sunday gathering for dad now, so I will do a proper blog soon. Thank you for your prayers for my travels – without the random people I met on the buses and the training of our pilot on that first flight, I may not have gotten here yet. Keep them coming!
