I have been in Mongolia for a week now and its way different than China. It has a lot of Russian influence mixed with an eastern european feel, than throw in an asian culture. The people seem to be closed off more than those in China as well, but we are doing evangelism this month, so building relationships may be tough, but will be worth it even more when it happens!!

We had our first debrief right before we got to our ministry site, which is when the whole squad gets together and we get some R & R and just get to know each other better. Troy, Michelle, and Paul were with us as well for this time and it was a blessing to have them around. This part is for you guys….(as well as Myles and Taylor don’t worry I’m not forgetting about you 🙂 )

Thank you so much for all you do!! You guys are so amazing, and this squad would not be what it is today without you! I am blessed beyond measure to know each of you! Your love for God is something to strive for, and your love for people is evident in just your everyday walk. I have learned so much from you guys, and its only been a little over a month on the race. Thank you for answering Gods call on this, and Im glad that from this point Ill always be able to call you friends, because with people like you I don’t stand a chance to stay the person I am!!!!

Right before debrief we left our ministry site in China and took a train from Lanzhou to Beijing and I tell you, it was the worst ride Ive ever experienced haha. It was for 27 hours and it was hot and cramped. About 10 hours in more and more people started to get on, and a trainer with a capacity of 112 had 250 in it. I had to stand for the longest time, and it was just miserable, but right before all this went down, God showed up in a really amazing way.

I was standing up not being able to sleep and this guy came up and started talking to me. His english name is frank and we talked for quite a while. We started off by talking about the NBA and about America and the Chinese culture. A little ways in he asked me what I did, so I told him I’m a missionary and travel talking about Jesus. For the next hour and a half we talked about Christ, and he asked me a lot of questions. I told him about what it means to be a christian, about the trinity and even about Moses and the Red Sea! I even had the bible open on the middle of the train with people all around us paying attention to me, and a train conductor right in front of me. Even though the train ride was crazy, this man and who knows who else heard the gospel, and I know that no matter what happens or how bad things get he has a chance at eternity!!!!!!

Thank you all for your prayers and support!! I am at $9700 and need to be at $13000 by the 31st of this month and $16500 by the end of December. If you could prayerfully consider supporting me financially I would appreciate it, and as always just prayer in general!! I love you guys and I wouldn’t be here without you, thanks!!!
