1. Ministry isn’t always talking about God.

2. Satan’s greatest weapon isn’t necessarily making people hate God. It is making people forget about Him.

3. God can bring fruit out of any situation.

4. At their core, people are the same everywhere. Kids want to have fun. Teenagers want to be popular. Adults dream of better futures for the next generation.

5. Just because it says beef or chicken, doesn’t necessarily mean it is either of those.

6. With the demographic pretty much the same here, people will stop, stare, and say something in Serbian about the two tall redheaded guys walking down the street. (Shout-out Abel)

7. Without exception, if a restaurant or café notice you in their establishment they will immediately start playing Top 40 pop on the radio.

8. Without God, people will latch on to one thing primarily and pursue it with everything they have to feel some kind of fulfillment, meaning, and satisfaction.

9. Hand motions and pointing are perfectly valid ways to transcend language barriers. It also gives the locals a good laugh.

10. If a foreigner knows about anything that has happened in America in the last ten years, they are likely to bring it up if just for the sake of practicing their English.

11. Don’t question the ministry you’ve been called to. Have faith in what the Lord can do in any ministry event, taxi ride, English club, or new friendship that could change both of your lives forever.
