So far, Nicaragua has been nothing short of spectacular!

First, we arrive in Granada to the (oh-so-emotional) long-awaited, amazing reunion with our parents! For a week, our parents served alongside us, in partnership with REAP Granada – an amazing ministry run by an even more amazing family. We had a fantastic week filled with both work and play.

Ministry was amazing there. They are currently helping a fellow missionary build a Halfway House for men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction as well as working on the construction of their own property, building and expanding the reach of their ministry. They also visit the local jail and have well-established bible and discipleship classes, haircuts and face-shaves for the men, crafts for the women and love for everyone. They also disciple to the local folks living in the barrio (neighbourhood) near them, filling prescriptions, gathering school supplies, pouring out love to anyone and everyone. Their goal is to Restore, Educate, Activate and Perpetuate everyone and everything they come into contact with – which they do, very well.

It’s safe to say that everyone and their mother (literally) adored working alongside Scott and Jen, their family and their ministry REAP. Their hospitality and heart for the people greatly influenced a lot of us and our families too, and made our stay fantastic and unforgettable.

This is the fun part, though.

Upon hearing about all the good stuff going on down here, my brother Ben has decided he wants to come check it out for himself!!

He’s planning on leaving roughly a week from now (today being March 13) and staying for about 2 weeks, working with the Esposito’s and livin’ that Nica-life for a while.

 Here’s the stitch.

In one short week, he needs to raise $2,000 to make it happen!

Selfishly, I really miss the kid and would love to be able to bus up to Granada and visit him, but even more than that, the idea of him being able to be a part of the amazing ministry that the Esposito family has – even for a short time – makes my heart swell. I would wish the opportunity on anyone, but my little brother especially.

He needs support both financially and prayerfully. All of you who helped support me in my adventure, thank you so much, and those who didn’t get the chance to support me, here is your chance!!

Please consider supporting my brother on this amazing adventure and opportunity!

If you would like to donate, you can do so through my Paypal account – Ben doesn’t have one yet.

Alternatively, you can give either him or my mom cash or a cheque directly.

Help make this adventure happen!!!

Thank you so much everyone, for all your love and support!!!
