Here’s some information about me, for those of you who don’t know me already!

My name is Marita Drouillard (pronounced Droolhard).

I’m 18 years old and am just finishing my first year studying Anthropology at Trent University.

I was born and raised in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario and I am absolutely proud to be Canadian!

I have a (barely) younger brother named Benjamin – he’s a sweetheart!

I was raised by my wonderful parents who love me a lot and have showed me how to the best that I can be.

My family is the most supportive of me and I am forever thankful for all of them. They’ve shown me what family means and how to truly love.

I have a very important gentleman in my life named Grady and he’s a true gem.

My friends are very important to me. I have a solid group of 16 that I’m incredibly close with and whom I love very very much.

I tend to think that I’m pretty funny… I can usually get a good laugh out of myself!

I HATE the wet. Showering is pretty much my nemesis. Everything wet is awful. Rain, water, slobber, everything. It’s just not my thing.

I love music. I started learning how to the play the cornet at my church at the age of 6 or 7 and have continued that throughout my whole life! Although I have switched back and forth from brass instrument to instrument, I’ve never stopped loving it. I also play guitar, and the ole tambourine when the opportunity arises!!

Reading is my thing, I can get truly and fully lost in books.

Sometimes, if I’m scared, I do this really awkward laugh-cry thing where I both laugh and cry at once. It’s totally cool, and somewhat impressive.

My guilty pleasure would definitely be those candycane Hershey kisses. MMM-MMM!!!!!

I stand for what I believe in and I’m not afraid of much.

Travelling is my passion.

God has plans for me and although putting my life wholly in His hands is a very scary thing, I know that he will lead me to good places, good people, and good food.
