What do you love the most about life on the race?
My favorite thing about the race is how normal odd or weird things get. For example:
M: “Hey Rashelle, are you next to me?” (In the next bathroom)
R: “Yeah.”
M: “Whatcha doing?”
R: Watching the spiders. Do you have spiders?”
M: “Yeah.”
R: “What are they doing?”
M: “Theyre fighting each other. Whats yours doing?”
R: “Eating its dinner.”
M: “We got food network and fight night, who needs TV.”
R:”Only on the Race.”
Or the fact that when something completely ridiculous happens we just reply with, “World Race.”

Do you have a favorite country out of the ones you have been to yet?
My favorite country had been Serbia, Novi Sad to be exact. I loved everything about Serbia, the people were wonderful, the environment was very relaxed, most people knew english, and 27 different nations in one small city. I loved all of it!

What ministry has been your favorite so far?
In Novi Sad we did Unsung Hero which is finding new potential host and ministries to partner with. We met this awesome guy named Danijel and he took us in and allowed us to do ministry with him. We did kids ministry, home groups, and kids ministry in the afternoons. Durning the mornings we went out to the community and did relationship building aka meeting new people!

What is a typical day like for you?
Every country is different. This month in Romania a typical day looks like this.
8 am-Wake up get ready for the day and do a quiet time
10:30 am- Group worship and devotional
12-1pm- Lunch
2:30- 5 pm- Go to an apartment and into the community to play with kids and relationship building. Its a pretty new relationship in the area that we go to.
6-7pm – Dinner
7-8 pm- Team time/ Feed back
Hanging out for the rest of the night

What has been your most noticeable spiritual change since starting your ministry?
The biggest difference I can see in myself is seeing my heart for discipleship. I never knew how passionate I was until about month 4 of the race. Now thats all I want to do, I want to hear your heart, your struggles, your stories of what Gods doing in your life, I want to really live life next to people. As months have gone by I have been learning how to do that in the way of the Lord and what that can look like when I get home. Another thing is that I have fallen so madly in love with the Lord. I can’t even describe how much I love Him.

If given the opportunity, which country would you return to and why?
So far I would want to go back to Serbia. I fell in love with the city of Novi Sad and the people there. You can have a full conversation with any stranger there.

Whats been the biggest change (non spiritual per say) Like not having your favorite food, no cell phones, or sleeping in a different bd all the time?
The biggest change would probably not being able to google things I want answers too. Google is such a blessing! Now Im just left to wonder the answer forever… Oh and sweet tea, I miss sweet tea.
