It’s month 8 of the race and well, I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we’re freaking out here. I really don’t understand why though. We’re in month 8, not month 10 or 11. We have gone this whole race learning how to trust God with everything. Whether it be ministry, where to sleep, or how to get places. And now, we are freaking out as if He’s going to stop providing for us after the race. I’m speaking to myself too, guys. Next we’re going to Africa and there’s a possibility we won’t have connection to the outside world to make future decisions. What if that’s exactly what God wants? What if He wants us to be completely focused, 0 distractions, 0 contact back home, in order to reveal to us what he has planned next?

You know what is so interesting with month 8? We’re almost home and we’re stressing out about it, but we also have 8 months to look back at how God planned every ministry, every person in our paths, every word spoken, every encounter we had to show us that He’s got this under control. It reminds me of the part in the Bible where the disciples just got done feeding the 5,000 and they get into a boat and the disciples look at Jesus and say, “We don’t have enough food!” As if they didn’t just feed 5,000 people with a lunchable! Let’s not forget about how He provides ALL things and not just some.

Just a reminder to dream with God and not just for yourself and invite Him into it once you have it planned. We still have a lot of race to live so let’s finish strong. Love you guys! Oh yeah, this goes for everyone else back home too.
