IVE MADE IT!!!! after days and days of travel (honestly don’t know how long it was apparently september 12th didnt exist for us??? timezones are weird) we are at our new HOME!

Atlanta, Georgia
launch in Atlanta was a few days full of worship, sessions, and quality community time. saying goodbye to my family was hard. although I held in my tears pretty well during the hugs, I definitely showed up to team time afterwards late with a puffy red face. but our God is not one of sadness!! He is love, He is peace, He is joy. and MAN OH MAN DID HE PROVIDE THAT FOR ME. this key is one of the biggest God moments i’ve ever had. the night of worship with our families, they announced that Keys For The Journey would be making keys for each and every racer about to launch out. the keys have a different word that they got from praying over each name. while saying bye to my parents they both talked into my ear and, they both whispered to me the phrase they continually have reminded me of for years: “remember whose you are.” His, i am His.

San Francisco, California
from Atlanta we flew to San Fran! 17 hour layovers mean time to explore! we ended up walking 6 miles to get to the Golden Gate Bridge (should probably work on our map skills…), but it was a crazy fun experience AND work out!

Phnom Pehn, Cambodia

after flying to China from California, we flew into Phnom Pehn! we spent the night in a hotel right in the city and got a glimpse of the urban life.

Battambang, Cambodia
a 6 hour bus ride brought us to Battambang! our new home! we’ve only been here for about 24 hours but this town has already made me feel like im glowing (and it’s not just the 90% humidity making me constantly physically glow from sweat.) last night we got a chance to meet some of the kids we will be teaching English to this month at Ezra Ministries. some of you know kids aren’t necessarily my specialty but the Lord definitely changed my heart because i could not get enough of them.

i’d like to end this by thanking everyone that got me to this point. it’s amazing how strong community can be when it is centered on Christ! thank you for being such a blessing!
