Here’s a little overview/ update of the last several weeks.

In February I served in Lesotho. We had a unique opportunity to go to a village for the weekend and do door to door evangelism. It was incredible. The mountains, the cows roaming, the shepherds, the starry nights, the damp mornings. And the people.. ohhh the people.

They didn’t have running water, just a spicket outside. There was electricity. No bathrooms, just an outhouse around back.

It was a dream. It was so incredibly peaceful, I couldn’t have asked for more!

We stayed the rest of the time in the city Maseru teaching high schoolers.

We traveled to South Africa, stayed a night in Petoria where I met an incredible couple and their daughter. We stayed up until almost midnight talking about life, ministry, what it looks like to follow God, and how my life has molded me.

Then we left early in the morning to head to Middleburg.. where we are now. We are staying in a foster home.

Each day has looked different. We have met with pastors to pray for their ministries and the city, we have visited a middle school, high school, and preschool. We have sanded and painted playground equipment at the church, we visited an orphanage to paint a swing set and fall in love with the babies, we helped out in the school here at the foster home, and we’ve played with the kiddos here.

It’s been a busy, incredible few weeks! I can’t explain enough how wild and great this is. Something about Africa.. wow 🙂
