It’s really difficult for me to wrap my mind around the fact that we are leaving Khon Kaen, Thailand this evening. This month has been incredible and it has flown by far too fast.
So fast, I actually haven’t shared anything with you about what it’s really been like. This month, we have been working with YWAM Khon Kaen and WOW it has been great!
My team, Abiding Azar, has been paired up with team Ahava and we have enjoyed being a “Swiss Army knife” for the gospel..
Some of what we’ve done has been:
Sharing at a Men’s Rehab center
Manual labor at an orphanage
Evangelizing at local Universities
Inviting students to a Christian camp
Sharing at a Vocational, Elementary, and High school
Celebrating a local church’s anniversary and the new lives found there
Evangelizing and sharing the true meaning of Christmas!
Most of our sharing looked like putting on skits, singing, dancing, sharing testimonies, and splitting up into small groups to answer any questions we could!
I’m only slightly regretting not sharing more in the moment but I’ve been doing my best to keep my mind and my heart here in the present and soaking in as much of Thailand as I possibly can. 🙂
