Heyooo!
Week one in Lesotho! This month we are staying in a mountain village, and the view is as incredible as the people!
People are very eager to great us with a smile and wave.
So far we have been traveling to a local hospital where a small group will share a quick testimony, short sermon, and pray for patients before the visits and operations start.
We also are helping with a soup kitchen which consists of making food at the church (and chopping wood to cook the food), and bringing it to the hospital to feed the people.
The Lord has been answering my prayer for a green thumb by several opportunities to weed the gardens and cultivate a love for the process of growing.
I’ve enjoyed working together with three of our teams and watching them come together to serve as one body! The growth and excitement has been so wonderful!
We have recently run out of water at the.. place we are staying. First the tap shut off, and this morning our reserve tank ran dry.
We have been able to buy water at a local grocery store as well as get a barrel of water from our host.. BUT I would truly appreciate you partnering with is to pray for rain as well as the taps to flow!
I’m also still fundraising for my time out on the field with this squad! Believe it or not, my time out on this trip is ticking away and I’ll be making my way back to the US at the beginning of March. I’ll then have the privilege to continue spiritually and emotionally supporting O-Squad from the States as well as physically meeting them back on the field while thy are in Central and South America! Please consider donating! This has truly been a wild, blessed experience of growth in both being discipled as well as discipling our Squad!
Thank you so much for following me on this journey!!! I pray that where you are you are see the hand of God in your life in ways that you haven’t before. I also pray that you have such a deep revelation of his love for you that you can’t help but pursue him personally and intimately.
Your decision to seek the Lord will be the greatest decision of your life. I believe it with all my heart.
This is my prayer for you and myself…
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 1:17-23
