My name is Marissa. I am currently 22 years old, in the Air Force, and living in the good ol’ state of Missouri- or, as some people down here like to say, “Missouruh”. I’m originally from Wisconsin, have two sets of parents, seven siblings and a few dogs that are arguably my parents’ children.. so we can bump that last number up to nine. I enjoy just about everything outdoors except being eaten alive by insects. I I adore my family and love my friends.
My dog’s name is Kenji. He is going on two years old and I just plain love him.
I have a hard time saying that I’ve been through a lot because overall my life has been absolutely amazing. I’ve faced some different challenges but God has taught me a lot through the struggles. I’m really excited about my upcoming adventures on the World Race and look forward to meeting my squad and all of the beautiful people on my path.
One caution to everyone and anyone who reads my blog: English/Writing has never been my forte and grammar is a pain. I like the look of a semicolon but hardly know where it goes in a sentence. So feel free to look past my typing errors 🙂
