Not for you.. sorry. Free Starbucks for me!
Running on an hour of sleep on my first plane ride, I’m soaking in how loved and blessed I am by everyone who has supported me in these last few months of being home!
I’ve been housed, I’ve been fed, I’ve been shuttled. I’ve been blessed by the sweetest of conversations and last minute adventures! I’ve been supported physically, financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
To top it all off, in this moment I get to enjoy pumpkin bread from my brother and his wife while sipping a hot, overpriced, delicious drink all because of a friend generous and tech savvy enough to buy me a coffee through my phone..
Yes, big things happen! I’ve had an unbelievable amount of people make unexpected one-time donations and I’ve had monthly donors that blow all of my expectations away.
I couldn’t be more thankful!
Yet, it’s usually little things that stir my soul so uniquely. These simple things like sipping a hot drink on a three-hour layover that makes me stop and pull my mind away from the numbers and expectations and insecurities that fill my mind for this upcoming journey. To sit back and enjoy a quiet moment in a noisy airport.
It’s these still, small moments that blow my mind and fan a flame of excitement for this crazy thing called life. I would dare to even say it’s these still, small moments that make it all worth while.
What’s new:
I’m currently on my way down to Georgia to have a few days of Squad Leader Training before my Squad comes to Atlanta for LAUNCH!
I’m in the middle of a BIBLE FUNDRAISER!
Bibles are $100 plus $15 if being shipped. They are ESV single columned Journalling Bibles that I have attached to beautiful leather! You can comment or message me on the bottom of this page for more details!
Back to those “little” things:
Every dollar goes far when living overseas. I will VERY likely be living each day on less than what this Starbucks drink cost. Would you please consider donating $5 to my World Race? It’s like buying me a cup of joe except it takes me overseas to share the love of Jesus with strangers and to pour into the lives of 37 young men and women who have signed up for this wild journey.
