I suppose I should post some words – most of my teammates have. : ) I guess I just don't know what to write. I mean this expedition is still almost four months off. I know, I know…these days will fly.

It's also difficult to think about it all when I'm ingrained in studying. I'm still finishing up school and should be done next month. Holler. My intention is to focus in and git-r-done so that I can set my heart and mind on the things to come in this journey.

But there is no doubt that God is using the current things I am living to prepare me.

I have recently read through Isaiah for school and God's immense heart for justice has dawned on me more than ever before. After all, justice is a huge aspect of this trip, right? Justice. Here are a few verses that I documented in my journal on April 6th…

59:1 "Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear."

59:15-16 "The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene…"

60:8 "For I, the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and inquity…"

Yeah, I know that this is in Isaiah, and this is the Old Testament. I know that this has to do with Israel and Babylon and God's judgement and all those things. But these things aren't the purpose of this blog, I don't think. Plus, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:20)

In the prophecy of the coming Messiah in Isaiah 9:7 it reads, "He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing it and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and FOREVER."

He has also begun to prepare me in the ministerial AND cultural sense to some Nepali refugees. Check it:  http://marissadale.wordpress.com/2011/05/07/by-his-spirit/

So, yes. God is preparing me without me knowing. The journey has begun. The breaking of a new dawn. A new adventure. A new mission. A race for the victims of injustice in…..

Peace, my friends.
