I just wanted to help out the not-so-computer-savvy folks out there…here’s some navigational help!
On the left of this post are some brown tabs: (and most likely I’ll change the text on the tabs as time goes on, but here’s the gist of it)
“Here’s a short bio” = I’ve put up a small autobiography to get to know me a little better
“Photos” = pretty self-explanatory there.
“View All Blog Entries” = again self-explanatory
“Get my blogs via e-mail” = Rather than checking back on this website every few days to see if I’ve made a post, you can enter your e-mail to my subscribers list to receive an e-mail with the link of the post. Anytime I write a blog it can be sent right to you. Pretty convenient.
“Click here to donate $ online” = financial support can be sent through the mail or you can provide a gift online. You can set up to give via credit/debit card or set up a bank draft (which saves on transaction fees) on a one-time, monthly, quarterly or annual basis to AIM. If you click this tab, it automatically fills in that you are making a contribution to support me specifically. All you need to do is fill in your info, set your start/end dates if giving monthly, create an account to store your info for future giving and there you go! I was told by staff that you should receive an e-mail a few days before you are charged.
(Contributions can also be mailed to Adventures In Missions, P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. PLEASE be sure and write “Appealed by Marissa Avila” in the memo. Please do not send cash.)
“help spread the Word” = this lets you forward a blog post to a friend via e-mail. You can include a personal message with it.
“Adopt My Team! Learn more>>“ = this is a great way for groups and churches to be involved in Team NEON’s ministry. Videos and blogs will be sent to you. It is important that we have prayer warriors willing to stand in the gap for us consistently while we are on the front lines. By adopting Team NEON you are committing to reaching out to those around you and praying for us. We need you!
