Tuesday was my 25th birthday.  I didn’t do anything special to really celebrate it, in fact I worked on my paper for my Hispanic culture class.  To be honest I haven’t had much time to sit back and think over the changes I’ve been through thus far.  Whatever free time I’ve had this past month I spent it soaking in the sunsets at a park close to where I live.  This past month has been rough with lots of changes happening at work and trying to stay on top of classwork.  Right now I’m praying that I’ll pass my Spanish class because otherwise, graduation plans for December could be thrown completely off.

Normally I’m someone who jumps at the chance to update blogs but I haven’t had the time or internet access to make it happen.  Fair warning right now, I don’t think this coming Fall semester will be any better.  But for the next two weeks I hope I will be able to put in a few more posts and updates, as well as pick up on some fundraising tasks.

I could really use some prayer for rest and strength.  Close friends are getting ready to leave Lubbock to pursue jobs and life after college.  I’m covenanting with Redeemer Church this Sunday.  I’m trying to stay afloat financially.  I’m doing my best to be a diligent leader at work (and remain teachable at the same time).

Lots of changes ahead folks.  I’m still in the Race!!
