Three months and already many people have been impacted in some way or another by our presence in Central America.

Amparo cried as she told us how thankful she was for the chicken coop we built.

Noemi saw us a week later with the news that her eyes don't hurt anymore after our prayers.

Pastor Josue was amazed by our willingness to come alongside the congregation to build the church.

Roni jumped up and down with joy when he saw his prayer answered.

Freddy walked out of the bakery without a limp.

Juliana cried as she watched our squad leave, all the bracelets she had received from us covering her arms.

Fernando experienced his first birthday party at age 13.

Tony got Boston creme pie for Father's day.

Anderson got new shoes.

Alejandro received a love offering.

Esperanza had hope restored.

Vivian was encouraged.

Armando couldn't stop smiling.

I am thankful for that impact and how God has been using us, but the impact I carry with me is just as strong.

Ana called us her 50 children.

I sat in Eva's living room as we talked over coffee and cookies.

Henry never failed to ask me how my day went accompanied by a kiss on the cheek.

Haciel wrapped her little arms around my neck as she whispered that this was the first time she had her nails painted.

Coco made a bracelet for me.

Emily insisted that I sit down and receive soup first.

Juli taught me how to use the well.

Alejandro called me  his "amiga feliz" (happy friend).

The entire congregation gathered around us to pray.

Danny said he is proud of me.

Miriam shared her story.

Carmen shared her wisdom.

Nidia shared her hugs.

How beautiful it is to share life together. Although I would love to have you all here sharing in this with me, my hope is that I can share the beauty of these moments through my words. Thank you for reading. On to Thailand!!
