This is the second "Meet" blog I have written. It is something that I plan to continue doing throughout the year as I encounter people who are walking out the Kingdom here on earth. Although it will be amazing to write about people from all over the world, I felt it important to start now because I love to see how God is moving right here in Michigan. My hope is that you will be encouraged, inspired and moved to support and pray for these wonderful people and those they pour into with their ministry.
Jessica. Is. Amazing.
I got to know Jessica Concannon after continually "running into" her throughout the year. I thank God for that! 🙂 She currently teaches 3rd-5th graders at Tree of Life School in Kalamazoo. This was not a part of Jessica's original plan. She was feeling a pull to India, but when God called her to stay in Michigan and get involved with Tree of Life, she responded in obedience and He is using her here in mighty ways.
Tree of Life School provides a Biblically based education to a wide range of children who might not normally have the opportunity to attend a private school. Jessica is truly making a difference in these children's lives. Prayer is a regular part of the day in her classroom. The students are familiar with being prompted by the Holy Spirit and have witnessed miraculous healings through prayer. The faith of these little ones is not only impacting their families, but the entire community.
