So this blog is dedicated to a woman who has molded me and shaped me to be the woman I have become today! A woman of beauty! A woman of great conviction! A woman with impeccable timing! A woman lead by the Holy Spirit like no one I’ve ever known before! A woman who can make me laugh at any moment! A woman who is a fighter and defender of truth! A woman of prayer! A woman of determination! A woman of immeasurable wisdom! I am blessed to have her rooting for me in all the endeavors The Lord sends me on! I am blessed to call her friend! I am blessed to call her MOM!!!!
For those of you who will go on the race, just know that these days will be the hardest! It’s not easy to be separated from those you love on special days like these. If I could just give my Mom one hug and sit on her bed and listen to her wisdom for at least five minutes it would make this day easier. But I can’t. So today with raw and real emotions I say…I miss you Mom! Happy Birthday!?
Today I dedicate to you! As I speak at church today here in Romania I will thank God that you instilled confidence in me and taught me the Word so I may share it with others. When I lead worship tonight I will thank God that you forced me to practice when I was terrible at guitar and let me play into the wee hours of the night even though I know I was keeping you up. When I’m dealing with a difficult team member I will be thankful that you taught me to love no matter what and to never give up on anyone! When I’m laughing I will thank God that you instilled in me a good sense of humor! There is so much to be thankful for when it comes to you! I love you Mom! Be blessed today 🙂
