As I mentioned in my last blog, a lot has happened in the past few weeks. Not only have I moved to another country, but I also moved to another team. Team changes are the World Race’s way of encouraging growth, and as scary as they appear to be coming up to them I can honestly say that this team change wasn’t bad at all! Top Ten Reasons I Love Being on an All-Girls Team:
10. My wardrobe has expanded because I now of 5 other girls to share clothing with.
9.We laugh a lot!
8.We openly and frequently talk about our favorite movies, including our favorite (beautiful) actors
7.I have someone to watch Friends or Gilmore Girls with at all times
6. Cooking turns into a dance party
5.We all understand the importance of a shower and clean clothes…or at least Fbreeze
4.No one doubts the importance of chocolate
3.We randomly break into song, including some classics like Backstreet boys
2.All I have to do is say the word “bakery” and I have someone to walk with.
And the number one reason I love being on an all-girls team is:
1. Our food budget goes a lot farther now that we don’t have hungry boys to feed!
I mean this as no disrespect to boys! My last team had two great guys on it, and honestly sometimes I miss having boys on my team, like when its late and dark and the church we are living in starts creaking, but all that said I am very blessed by my new all-girls team and I’m excited to see how God will use and grow us!
