Whoot Whoot! We made it to Ecuador! Month one begin. I feel like we might be a little spoiled this month, but it’s amazing here. Blessings: beds, blankets, showers, amazing food, awesome couches, super awesome view, and one of my personal favorites- a swing set. I mean, who doesn’t like swinging, especially on the top of a hill in Ecuador overlooking the city and mountains in amazing weather. Pure bliss.

The view from said swingset.
However, the biggest blessings this month are our amazing ministry contacts and seeing our teams become truly united. I am so excited about this upcoming month and all that God is going to do. I know that he’s been brewing up some pretty amazing plans. Yesterday started our first full ministry day, although we had already spent a pretty good amount of time with our contacts (They may or may not have been surprised to see us last Saturday). We are working with a church called Vision Mundial Para La Familia (VMF). It’s been so great so far, I know that it’s just going to get exponentially more awesome as time goes on. Our weeks are sort of going to look like this (with definite change expected and still some things yet to be decided):
Monday: Free Day- Rest and recuperation, etc.
Tuesday: Leadership class meeting, pretty much led by us.
Wednesday: Visiting Rehab Center in the morning. Evening= tbd.
Thursday: Church service in the evening. We’re all sharing our stories at some point here.
Friday: House church visits.
Saturday: Evangelism stuff. Much tbd. Supposedly very full day.
Sunday: Church service. We are preaching. Fellowship and visits afterwards.
I’m sure exactly what we do will be different in a lot of ways than this skeleton schedule. But hey, it’s a starting place. We’re leaving soon to head out for the day. More to come soon!
